WHAT TO EXPECT

If you're simply looking to tick 'photographer' off your vendor list, I'm not your gal.

Sounds weird? Maybe. Keep reading.

I got into the wedding industry shooting my friend's weddings, and planning their surprise proposals in foreign countries with their future fiancés, just for the love of them. I ended up taking photos, yes, but it was never about the gear or the tech. It has been, and always will be, about the person. The moment. The story behind it all.

Though things have moved well beyond shooting friends and family, the rhythm I've come to know and love working with my couples is one where I become your ally, friend and cheerleader first, and your photographer second. And the best part is, this space is where the real magic, creativity and heart can emerge as I tell your story.

I'm not in this industry to power through wedding after wedding, cranking out gallery after gallery. I put my heart and soul into you. I absolutely love the process of getting to know who you are, from the first email on.

To put all that poetic stuff into some succinct terms, I've summarized a few things you should expect when working with me!

1) FEEL LIKE YOU

...and the rockstars you are! I won't ask you to do things you aren't comfortable with. My goal is to read and discover the gold that exists in who you are, and to celebrate that! No two shoots are the same, and that's the best part. All you have to do is show up honestly! You let me worry about the rest.

2) A NEW PAL AND KILLER THIRD WHEEL

...who is wholly committed to representing you and your moments as honestly as she darn well knows how.

3) SUPPORT AND LOVE

Timeline questions? Stuck on photo locations? How to streamline family photos? I've gotchu. Just an email or a text away. You'll also get a guide outlining the info I need from you, so that when the day hits, you can leave it all up to me, giving you the space and freedom to just be.

4) TRUST

This goes both ways. I'm looking for people willing to take the plunge with me. Invite me in. This doesn't mean I'll be all up in your face the whole time, but it does mean to consider me as more than a vendor, and photography as more than a job. Remember, I'm gonna be there when the dress goes on, and when she commits her life to you. I'd waaay rather be there as your friend, verses just as just a fly on the wall with a camera or two.

5) A WHOLE LOTTA FUN

Including, but not limited to laughter and the occasional obnoxious squeal coming from behind the lens as I lose my mind over you. Photo sessions should be a blast! Bring your nerves, and let me iron them all out! That's the way documenting real life should be!
